Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Project Engineer to drive the Electric Power Generation program within the Power Systems group. Job description

Be part of the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Power Systems. This position will be a key focal within the Project Engineering team, working directly with Project Leadership, the Customer, and a cross‑functional team.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including Control Account Management (CAM) activities
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project engineering, Test engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM)
