RELX INC is seeking a Principal AI Engineer – Architecture Track in Horsham, PA for a hybrid onsite role. You will design and build production-grade AI solutions while growing into a broader AI Architect role, collaborating with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and security teams to translate mission needs into secure, scalable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant professional software engineering experience delivering production applications.
• Hands-on experience developing AI, ML, or data-intensive solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with APIs, cloud services, data pipelines, and source control.
• Experience with modern generative-AI patterns (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI agents).
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture, security, observability, and secure development.
• Ability to evaluate alternatives and explain architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
• Experience collaborating across product, engineering, data, security, and business teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• AI solution design and development.
• Design, prototype, and implement AI-powered apps, services, and workflows.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using AI technologies including LLMs, embeddings, and NLP.
• Build reusable AI components, APIs, and reference implementations.
• Integrate AI with enterprise platforms, data sources, and workflows.
• Balance rapid experimentation with secure production engineering.
• Evaluate models, platforms, and vendors for performance, cost, and security.
