Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
• Residency completed in an VA-accepted core specialty.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and diagnose/treat medical conditions.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and families.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, pharmacists, and social workers.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and assistive devices as appropriate.
