Qualifications

• Must hold Texas NP license and NP certification
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• DEA registration
• RN license (TX or RN-Compact)
• National NP certification in specialty area
• Credentialing and privileging requirements must be met

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic conditions
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused examinations
• Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic disease
• Provide preventive care and health counseling
• Educate patients and families about treatment and lifestyle
• Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-ups
• Perform procedures within scope of practice
• Participate in population health and quality improvement
