Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team, offering meaningful patient care within an integrated healthcare system and flexible work-life balance.
As a Primary Care NP, you'll evaluate patients, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, provide preventive care, and coordinate referrals, with collaboration from physicians and an empowered care team. Hybrid work options available.
Formación
- Texas NP license is required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- DEA.
- Texas RN or RN Compact licensure.
- National NP certification in area of specialty.
Responsabilidades
- Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic disease.
- Provide preventive care and health counseling.
- Educate patients and families about treatment, medications and lifestyle.
