Qualifications
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license is required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- DEA license is required.
- Texas RN or RN compact license is required.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification in area of specialty is required.
- Ability to meet credentialing and privileging requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications.
- Provide preventive care and health counseling.
