Harvey Ellis Devereaux Corp. in San Diego, CA seeks an Architectural Designer III / Job Captain to join our PreK–12 education practice. You will lead technical design development and coordinate with project teams under senior staff.

The ideal candidate has California PreK-12 project experience, proficiency in Revit, and a track record delivering projects in compliance with DSA and building codes. A collaborative, mentorship-focused environment is offered in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and licensure or in the process of licensure required.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in the A/E industry.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Strong working knowledge of DSA procedures and California Building Code.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning and coordination of the architectural scope of work with the Project Manager.
• Produce and manage construction documents meeting quality standards and codes.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for design integrity.
• Support permitting with AHJs and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior staff.
