Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc is seeking a Manager Preclinical Research Strategy and Operations to drive operational excellence across Preclinical Sciences. This role partners with Procurement, Legal, Outsourced Contracting, Lab Operations, and Records Management to optimize processes and enable efficient execution.

Ideal candidate is highly organized, agile, and experienced in change management and cross-functional collaboration, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic operations, business ops, or project management.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Research, Procurement, Legal, Contracting, Lab Ops, Records Mgmt.
• Experience with Coupa, Icertis, Science Exchange.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support strategic and operational initiatives across Preclinical Sciences.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Outsourced Contracting, Lab Operations, Records Mgmt.
• Drive end-to-end vendor engagement and contracting workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead change management for new processes, systems, or tools.
• Track deliverables, timelines, and action items across multiple stakeholders.
• Develop procedures, trackers, dashboards, and documentation to improve visibility.
