Matter is seeking a creative, results-oriented Public Relations Account Executive to join our hybrid team in Providence. You will build media opportunities, draft compelling pitches, and guide client programs across B2B and B2C segments.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years agency PR experience, strong media instincts, and excellent written and verbal communication. The role offers growth, a collaborative environment and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience.
• 2-3 years of post-college PR agency experience, preferably B2B tech.
• Strong understanding of media landscape and ability to drive results.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing and securing a consistent stream of media opportunities for B2B and B2C clients.
• Drafting pitches, bylines and client deliverables focused on messaging.
• Generating ideas to drive PR and social programs using trends and news.
• Mentoring junior team members’ involvement in projects.
• Participating in new business research and media playbooks.
