Job summary

Prosek Partners is seeking an Account Executive to act as the linchpin on client accounts, driving media relations, pitching reporters, and delivering measurable results for clients. This client-facing role involves participating in team meetings and brainstorming, with an entrepreneurial, collaborative spirit.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience, a BS in PR or related field, and strong interest in financial/professional services, technology, or B2B comms.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in PR or related field.
• BS in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
• Interest in financial services, professional services, technology, or B2B comms.
• Proficiency in Cision, Factiva, and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily scans, draft meeting agendas, timesheets, and clips.
• Accurate reporting—monthly, quarterly, with the right content.
• Develop knowledge of media influencing client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain journalist relationships.
• Create media pitches and secure opportunities and results.
• Prepare client-facing briefs and briefing materials.
• Demonstrate understanding of client business and competitors.
• Produce client-ready written communications and strong verbal communications.
