Responsibilities

  • Develop axles (mechanics) for medium and heavy‑duty truck and bus applications at component and system levels.
  • Convert concepts into design/packaging, DFMEA/DVP, tolerances, simulations, prototypes, testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate globally on hardware components with Detroit, Stuttgart & Portland teams.
  • Release axle components and systems to production in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Manage component suppliers and coordinate project plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Resolve plant issues, field problems, and customer requests promptly.
  • Engage in cross‑functional activities across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Suppliers.
