Eaton is hiring a Lead Power Systems Engineer to provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers across power systems studies, power quality, installation, startup, maintenance, and training. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of listed work locations.
• Sponsorship or visa support is not offered for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must live within 50 miles of listed locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation in power systems studies, power quality analysis, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training.
• Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery within budgeted cost estimates and maintaining job cost accountability.
• Interpret customer specifications to develop tailored technical proposals and pricing strategies.
• Provide innovative solutions including equipment upgrades, system testing, and design enhancements for performance and safety.
• Lead and mentor engineers on medium-sized projects, fostering technical growth.
• Conduct and analyze short-circuit, LV/MV coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Execute large studies and projects independently with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
