Job summary

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California seeks an IT Software Developer III at its Los Angeles HQ. This technical specialist will develop, administer, and support enterprise business apps, focusing on Microsoft Access, VBA, and the Power Platform stack.

The role emphasizes AI integration and modern web app modernization using .NET and Copilot tools. The hybrid position combines in-person collaboration with remote work, with standard schedules and flexibility.

Qualifications

Experience with enterprise application development and support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access, .NET Framework, and Power Platform.
Strong SQL and relational database programming skills.
Ability to design and deploy data-driven reports with Power BI.
Experience with AI-driven development and Copilot tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and support business apps using Access and VBA.
Develop and support web apps using Power Platform.
Modernize legacy Access apps to web apps with Power Platform and .NET.
Design, develop, publish Power BI reports.
Design, develop, publish workflows to support business needs.
Develop and maintain relational DB components with complex SQL.
