Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage post-award financial operations, including budget maintenance, invoicing, and reporting for a portfolio of sponsored projects.

You will interpret federal and sponsor regulations to guide faculty and staff on grant compliance, while contributing to special projects and process improvements in a hybrid work environment. A relevant bachelor’s degree and accounting or finance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and ledger reconciliation.
• Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance [2 CFR 200] and related regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-award financial operations for an assigned portfolio.
• Set up accounts, maintain budgets, bill sponsors, report finances.
