Job summary

Cutting Edge Communications, LLC in Cypress, CA is seeking an experienced Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer specializing in PM&P to support an aerospace and defense electro‑optical space payload program. You will establish and manage a comprehensive PM&P program across design milestones.

You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and customers, maintain PM&P records, lead the PM&P Control Board, and ensure traceability and compliance of parts and materials

Qualifications

• Experience in PM&P within aerospace, defense, or space systems.
• Strong electronic parts control and materials compliance.
• Experience managing parts approval processes and control boards.
• Experience with supplier collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement a full PM&P program in accordance with customer PM&P requirements and established program plans.
• Execute and mature an existing PM&P Plan, coordinating approvals, deviations, and compliance activities with program stakeholders and the customer.
• Lead and facilitate the PM&P Control Board, ensuring proper review, approval, and documentation of all PM&P-related actions.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of PM&P approvals, supporting artifacts, and configuration-controlled documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to develop technical rationale and compliance documentation for parts and materials selection.
