Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Boston is seeking an entry level Plumbing Engineer to support the design of plumbing systems across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit. This position offers a hybrid work culture, allowing up to 2 days remote work per week, and a compensation range of $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.

We are looking to bring on board an entry level Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Supports the design of Plumbing and Piping systems including mission critical data centers, academic, commercial, healthcare, science and technology.
• Design closely with lead Engineer waste, vent, storm water, natural gas, potable and process water systems, purified water systems for healthcare and research and development facilities, process waste, water reuse systems, medical gas delivery systems, laboratory and process gas delivery systems.
• Attend project sites to document the existing plumbing conditions and to assess existing plumbing infrastructure and to prepare due diligence reports.

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of experience is ideal
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• AutoCAD or Revit
• Create and modify technical drawings and specifications
• FE is a plus
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) support offered

The Compensation range for this position is dependent on many factors including years of experience, office location, licensure, project type, and education, but the total rewards package is expected to be in the $70,000 to $90,000 range.
