Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Design Group. The ideal candidate will design and oversee plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and government facilities, collaborating with architects and other engineers to deliver code-compliant designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 11-15 years of plumbing design experience in building projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM workflows.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and sustainable design principles.
  • PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.

  • Analysis: Conduct hydraulic calculations, sizing of piping systems, and equipment selection.
  • Innovation: Incorporate sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Design Group. The ideal candidate will design and oversee plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and government facilities. Key Responsibilities

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $140,000.00 - $215,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
