Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company is seeking a Senior Developer for the PLM team in Orrville, OH. This hybrid role will design, build, and maintain PLM-focused software and integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value from concept to commercialization.

You will work with Java, .NET and cloud technologies, mentoring junior developers, and supporting ongoing enhancements while adhering to development standards and SLAs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience as a developer with either a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline or specialized training in development/cloud development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PLM-specific software applications and integrations.
• May lead technical activities for smaller projects.
• Author design specifications for moderately complex PLM-owned solutions.
• Follow development standards, code promotion, and change management.
• Instructs junior resources as appropriate.
• Participate in integration, performance, and load testing, and explore automation/AI opportunities.
• Support ongoing maintenance and releases of software.
