Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking a Senior Developer for PLM to design, build, and support cloud-based PLM, Formulation and Regulatory applications.

You will work within the PLM COE, collaborating with business customers and junior developers to ensure end-to-end process flow and high-quality solutions. Location: Orrville, OH with hybrid work arrangement (onsite at least 9 days/month). You will influence design, implement automation, and contribute to ongoing maintenance and releases while growing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of developer experience or more.
• Experience delivering software in cloud/SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/DevOps.
• Proficient in Java, .NET or similar languages.
• Knowledge of integration, reporting and scheduling tools.
• Ability to estimate and propose design approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support PLM-related software and integrations.
• Lead small project technical activities and collaborate with teams.
• Write technical design specs for PLM-owned apps and integrations.
• Follow standards for development, promotions, and change management.
• Participate in testing, automation opportunities, and performance efforts.
• Maintain existing solutions and respond to incidents per SLAs.
