Job summary

Member Driven Technologies is seeking a Platform Operations Coordinator in Michigan to oversee upgrades, patches, and releases across multiple platforms. You will coordinate internal and client-facing activities, manage tickets, and ensure documentation and testing are completed for each maintenance window.

The role demands 5+ years in financial core processing and strong Symitar platform knowledge, with hybrid work requiring on-site presence several days monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience/training.
• 5+ years of experience in financial institution core processing.
• 5+ years of experience with the Symitar core platform.
• Experience managing multiple projects at once.
• Two years of related programming experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the financial industry.
• Advanced knowledge of the Symitar core platform.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications.
• Understanding of related programming languages and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and oversee platform upgrades, including service packs and major releases.
• Administer platforms by adding users and other tasks.
• Work with managers to set load dates and employee schedules.
• Organize prep tickets for events and track activities.
• Open upgrade tickets and provide documentation and testing checklists.
• Coordinate as the event upgrade/patch/release coordinator.
• Publish upgrade instructions and maintain internal documentation.
• Identify areas for improvement and mentor teammates.
• Maintain client quotes and ticket assignments.
• Escalate as needed and ensure communications with teams and clients.
