Job summary

MDT in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Platform Operations Coordinator to maintain and upgrade client platforms, coordinate cross-team activities, and ensure smooth release events. The role spans planning, testing, documentation, and client communications.

A strong background in Symitar and financial processing is required, with experience coordinating multiple projects and some coding work. The position supports hybrid work with on-site requirements and offers a base salary plus bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in financial institution core processing.
• Five or more years of experience with the Symitar core platform.
• Experience managing multiple projects at once.
• Two years of related programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and oversee upgrades of client platforms and releases.
• Administer platforms by adding new users and performing tasks as assigned.
• Set load dates and employee schedules with impacted team managers.
• Prepare tickets and documentation for upgrades, tests, and client sign-offs.
• Oversee upgrades, patching, and release events as coordinator.
• Ensure checklists are up to date for maintenance events.
• Distribute logistics communications for releases and maintenance.
• Schedule GOODNIGHT time alterations during maintenance windows.
• Keep MDT management informed of progress and risks.
• Collaborate with Training and Communications teams for client-facing materials.
• Push applicable MSIs to internal workstations during events.
• Coordinate Alpha/Beta testing with Jack Henry and client participation.
• Archive, cleanup, and enhancements to drivers as needed.
• Publish upgrade instructions and maintenance documentation on internal pages.
