Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a mid-to-senior Platform Engineer to build and operate web-based services, infrastructure, and data pipelines supporting R&D teams. The role spans cloud and on-premises environments, with automation and developer enablement at its core.

You will design, deploy, and operate custom tools across disconnected and connected environments, collaborating with global teams and travelers across time zones. Security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in platform, infrastructure or DevOps engineering, including disconnected/offline environments.
• Strong programming in Python and JavaScript; hands-on Git and GitLab pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate and maintain web services and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop, test, and deploy tools and services with Git and GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage TLS certificates, reverse proxies, and related infrastructure.
• Create data-collection pipelines and automation/orchestration workflows (NiFi, Airflow, n8n, Playwright).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, iOS signing/sideloading automation, and test infra with containers and IaC.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and network reliability to support development.
