Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated seeks an Accountant for the Bedford Park, IL area. Hybrid work arrangement; responsibilities include accruals, cost analysis, and monthly close support across multiple plants.

You will prepare yield accounting, inventory adjustments, and reconciliations, partnering with operations and finance to deliver timely reporting. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 1+ year of experience, SAP ERP exposure, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 1+ years relevant experience.
• Experience using ERP costing systems; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly spend accrual entries across multiple plants.
• Prepare monthly variance reports comparing actuals to forecast.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations in line with internal controls.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting across plants (fixed and variable costs).
• Prepare yield and corn accounting data for monthly reporting.
• In charge of inventory adjustment/reporting and cross-functional support.
