Focus is on accuracy, timeliness, and ownership of tasks. This Position will report to the Accounting Manager - F&II, US/CAN.**What you will do:*** Plant expenditure analytics and accruals – Prepare and analyze monthly spend accrual entries in various account subgroups across multiple plants. Support operations and finance to understand and accurately assess costs.* Monthly Variance Reporting – Prepare monthly analysis reports comparing actuals vs forecast for production, manufacturing expenses. Key drivers of variances communicated clearly and concisely to assist operations and finance in understanding of impacts.* Account Reconciliations – Prepare monthly account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure internal control policies are being followed.* Forecasting/Budgeting – Work cross-functionally across plants to prepare monthly forecasts and periodic budgets (fixed and variable costs).* CWM (Corn Wet Milling) Yield/Corn Accounting Preparation – Prepare yield and corn accounting each month, analyzing data for reasonability.* Supplies/Packaging Adjustment/Analysis and Reporting – In charge of preparing, analyzing and adjusting supplies and packaging inventory/consumption to help operations and finance groups to understand and accurately assess usages.* Inventory management – Assist in physical inventory counts/reconciliations as required.* Audit/SOX Controls – Assist and help guide Audit data requests as needed.* Process Improvement – Conduct process reviews periodically to standardize and enhance procedures across the COE (Center of Excellence). Lead the implementation of improvements identified through this process.* Develop Relationships – Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all units and functional managers across local and remote locations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant financial performance.**What you will bring:*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required* 1+ years relevant experience* Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) costing systems.
