Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Space Planner to oversee space management and merchandising for key categories. This role focuses on the strategic arrangement of products within retail spaces and the use of space management software to develop planograms (POGs).

Proficiency with Blue Yonder (JDA), Apollo, or Spaceman is essential. The candidate will analyze financial data, develop client reports, and ensure planograms meet visual standards while maximizing brand space based on sales performance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred; related work experience may substitute
• Up to two years of related work experience
• Advanced proficiency in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI a strong asset
• Space management tools experience is a plus; data mining and CP/M data skills are valued

Responsibilities

• Provide space management and section merchandising for assigned categories and customers, including analysis of financial data and space-related insights
• Develop and maintain client-specific reporting measuring performance against strategies and objectives
• Develop planograms meeting customer and client visual standards, while increasing space for brands based on sales
• Set up and lead team meetings with BM and clients to discuss needs and upcoming projects
• Maintain and update all plan-o-grams for assigned categories and customers
• Ensure data source quality and deliverables accuracy, coordinating with BI associates and data/tool vendors
