Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Pipeline Project Engineer for our Columbus, OH office. You will develop pipeline designs, perform calculations, reviews, and analyses for natural gas projects in distribution and transmission.

The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients on design criteria and project deliverables. Required: BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 6–10 years of experience, CAD/GIS proficiency; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in pipeline projects.
• PE license is preferred.
• Working knowledge of CAD and GIS software; strong technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pipeline designs, calculations, drawings, profiles, details, layouts and studies from field inspections and specifications.
• Review designs and documentation to ensure compliance with codes, standards and design criteria.
• Coordinate data analysis and project deliverables with internal teams and clients.
• Support development of status reports, schedules, and budgets.
