Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Pipeline Project Engineer for our Columbus, OH office. The role involves designing pipeline systems, performing calculations, and guiding multidisciplinary teams on a hybrid work schedule.

The engineer will review designs for compliance, analyze data, and prepare bid packages while coordinating with clients and internal groups to ensure successful project delivery. PE preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant pipeline engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil Engineering required.
• PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pipeline designs including calculations, drawings, profiles, layouts and studies.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with codes and criteria.
• Acquire and analyze data using standard quantitative methods.
• Perform gas system hydraulic analysis and feasibility studies.
• Prepare construction specs, bid packages and material selections.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams; supervise staff.
