Job summary

Kleinfelder Inc. is seeking a Station Engineer to join our Columbus, OH office on a hybrid basis. You will develop designs, perform analyses, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams across projects.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 3–6 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. Proficiency in CAD/GIS and MS Office is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or related field).
3–6 years relevant experience in station/plant projects.
Proficient use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Engineering communication skills and ability to work with clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, layouts from field inspections and specifications.
Review designs for code and standard compliance.
Analyze data using standard quantitative methods.
Perform gas system network and hydraulic analysis.
Coordinate with clients, other teams, and associates for project execution.
Assist in schedule and budget planning and reporting.
