Job summary

LDIS LLC, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks a Pipeline Project Engineer to manage projects from conception to completion in the oil and gas sectors. You will perform technical calculations, design pipeline systems, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver aligned results.

Qualifications

• 7 years of engineering experience, 4 years in a similar role.
• PE Registration is preferred but not required.
• Strong background in mechanical design of pipelines, hydraulic modeling, stress analysis, HDD design, and material selection.
• Familiarity with CFR DOT 192, CFR DOT 195, ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8.
• Ability to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design pigging facilities and equipment; select materials; coordinate HDD plans and profiles.
• Performs pipeline calculations for design, studies and reports.
• Coordinate across engineering, design, procurement, document control, project controls, construction, and QA/QC to align technically.
• Ensure client and technical requirements are in engineering deliverables.
• Report to the Project Manager on budget and schedule for engineering tasks.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Controls on scheduling, estimating, cost management, staffing, and schedule management.
