Qualifications

• CPT-4, ICD-10-CM/PCS and HCPCS coding principles.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and payer requirements.
• Experience with medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and analyze professional coding for all service lines.
• Monitor audit results to identify coding inaccuracies.
• Provide support to practices and physicians on coding needs.
• Develop and present educational programs to physicians and staff.
• Ensure documentation adheres to payer guidelines and maintains 90% coding accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Central Business Office on follow-up and coding improvements.
