Job summary

Onco360 in Waltham, MA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician – Intake/Prescription Processing to join our specialty pharmacy team. You will assist in creating patient profiles, processing orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes, and coordinating with pharmacists to ensure timely medication access.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year pharmacy technician experience (3+ years preferred), a HS diploma, and an active state license or registration. Hybrid work with an onsite start.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy terminology knowledge and good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with prescription processing and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create patient profiles and process orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes.
• Request refill prescriptions as appropriate and manage incoming documents.
• Generate and type prescriptions for pharmacist verification and support transfers.
