Onco360 is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing for our Woodridge, IL location. You will process orders, manage intake, and support patients, caregivers, providers, and pharmacists through the prescription journey.

The role offers a hybrid/remote after onsite training, a starting pay of $24.00/hour with a quarterly incentive bonus, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying hires. Full-time employment with benefits awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience; 3+ years in pharmacy preferred, especially specialty pharmacy.
• High school diploma or GED required; state license/registration where applicable.
• National Certification (CPhT) may be required in some states; verify state-specific requirements.

• Create patient profiles and process orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes.
• Request prescription refills and manage incoming documents.

Join our team at Onco360 asCertified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing for our Specialty Pharmacy located in Woodridge, IL.

At Onco360, our Pharmacy Technicians play an important role in helping patients living with cancer and rare diseases access the medications they need. As aCertified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing, you'll work as part of a collaborative pharmacy team supporting patients, caregivers, providers, and pharmacists throughout the prescription journey.

This is an opportunity to use your pharmacy experience in a specialty environment where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to connect with patients and healthcare providers truly matter.

Starting Pay: $24.00/hour and up + Quarterly Incentive Bonus

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before October 31, 2026.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Consistent Scheduled 8-hour Shifts Between 8am and 8pm.

Location: Woodridge, IL

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing - Qualifications/Experience:

• Required: 1+ year pharmacy technician; Desired: 3+ years pharmacy technician, Specialty pharmacy experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Certain States also require National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA)

Intake Pharmacy Technicians at Onco360...

• Creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues
• Requests refill prescriptions as appropriate
• Manages incoming documents from the fax server

Prescription Setup (Processing) Pharmacy Technicians at Onco360....

• Generates and types prescriptions from orders for pharmacist verification
• Follows up on outbound prescription transfers, and
• Clarifies patient demographic and clinical information needed to process prescriptions

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing - Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
