Job summary

Actalent in Chicago, IL is seeking a Hybrid Pharmacy Technician to support patient care and collaborate with pharmacists and nurses. The role offers a hybrid schedule after training, a contract-to-hire path, and opportunities to expand specialty pharmacy experience.

You will contact patients, process prescriptions, verify insurance, update records, and coordinate with care teams, with pay between $23 and $25 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Patient access or reimbursement experience
• Prior authorization knowledge
• Call center experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
