Arbella Insurance Group's Bearingstar unit in Massachusetts is hiring a Customer Service Agent to assist clients with personal lines, explain coverages, and identify risk exposures. After a 90-day in-house training, the role can hybrid work from home with some days in the office.

The candidate will serve as the agency representative, handle inquiries, renewals, and claims information, and contribute to a friendly, customer-focused environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Personal lines of Insurance and MA Property & Casualty license encouraged.
• Training and support to obtain the license provided.
• Customer Service and Sales skills are a must.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the agency representative to clients, professionals, the public, and business community.
• Provide counsel on new and additional insurance needs and explain coverages.
• Identify risk exposures and qualify potential prospects.
• Maintain underwriting renewal and marketing renewal review for policyholders.
• Be first line of contact for claim information and resolve general inquiries.
