Qualifications

• Some college or a degree.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 2-3+ years of insurance industry experience and a Property & Casualty license.
• Experience with account management systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
• Applied EPIC experience preferred.
• Insurance designation or working toward one preferred.
• Strong time management and clear communication.
• Willingness to upsell and cross-sell where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client questions by phone and email, and resolve billing, claims, and policy issues.
• Process policy changes and complete thorough coverage and policy reviews.
• Report claims to carriers for clients and review new claim notices.
• Review renewal increases and help clients understand their options before renewal.
• Partner with Producers and Brokers when remarketing accounts: update quotes and walk clients through changes.
• Look for chances to strengthen client protection through upselling and cross-selling.
• Keep your P&C license and any designations current with continuing education.
• Take on new projects and responsibilities as the department grows.
