Liberty Insurance Agency in Pittsburgh seeks an Account Manager in Personal Insurance to be the trusted contact for individuals and families, handling coverage explanations, changes, claims and service.

Will report to the Director of Personal Insurance Operations; duties include responding to questions by phone/email, processing policy changes, reporting claims, reviewing renewals, partnering with Producers, and maintaining EPIC records. Requires P&C license and ongoing CE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 2-3+ years of insurance industry experience and a Property & Casualty license
• Experience with account management systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
• Experience with Applied EPIC (preferred)
• Insurance designation or working toward one (preferred)
• Have some college or a degree

Responsibilities

• Respond to client questions by phone and email, resolving billing, claims, and policy issues.
• Process policy changes and complete thorough coverage and policy reviews.
• Report claims to carriers and review new claim notices as they come in.
• Review renewal increases and help clients understand their options before renewal.
• Partner with Producers and Brokers for remarketing accounts: update quotes, compare coverage, and walk clients through changes.
• Keep accurate records in our agency management system (EPIC).
• Look for chances to strengthen client protection through upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain license through continuing education.
