Job summary

BeEvolvedHR is seeking a Permitting and Planning Construction Coordinator in Durham, NC, to move sites from drawing to permit to groundbreaking. This hands-on role coordinates site plans, surveys, plats, and permit applications with city/county/state agencies to keep timelines on track.

The 6-month contract may extend to 12 months and could convert to full-time, depending on performance and organizational needs. On-site presence is required with one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in permitting, land development, or construction administration.
• Experience preparing/submitting permit applications to municipal or county offices.
• Ability to read and markup site plans, surveys, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site plans, surveys, plats, and permit applications across agencies.
• Track permit applications from intake to approval and manage comments.
• Maintain a centralized permit tracker for all active lots.
