Job summary

Critical Loop, Inc. is seeking a hands-on People Operations Coordinator to support daily HR operations in a fast-growing energy tech company.

You’ll handle benefits, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS data, compliance, and employee support while collaborating with Finance, IT, and managers. Located in Torrance, CA, this hybrid role requires 3 days on-site and offers equity, comprehensive health coverage, a retirement plan, and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
• Knowledge of onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, and HR admin.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle sensitive information securely.
• Ability to work independently with guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day People Operations activities.
• Coordinate full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, changes, offboarding.
• Administer benefits enrollments and vendor coordination.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and timely updates.
• Handle onboarding logistics and first-day readiness.
• Coordinate offboarding and final payroll inputs.
• Assist with employee relations and documentation with Head of People.
• Support leave administration and policy compliance.
• Assist payroll changes and communicate with accounting.
• Support performance review cycles and HR programs.
