Job summary

Critical Loop is seeking a hands-on People Operations Coordinator in Torrance, CA to support benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, HR systems, compliance, and employee relations. You will report to the People & Talent Lead and work with managers across the organization to deliver a consistent employee experience.

This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site) in a fast-growth energy tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations
• Onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, employee records, and HR administration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day People Operations
• Coordinate full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, changes, offboarding
• Administer benefits enrollments and vendor coordination
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and first-day readiness
• Coordinate offboarding, including final payroll inputs and access
• Assist with employee relations and leave administration
• Support payroll changes and communication with accounting
• Assist with HR compliance and documentation
• Support performance review cycles and People programs
• Improve People processes, templates, and resources
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and managers to support employee needs
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events
