Job summary

SAG-AFTRA Health Plans seeks a Pension Benefit Payment Coordinator to ensure accurate pension distributions to retirees and beneficiaries. You will review benefits, process EFTs, reconcile monthly payroll reports, and support external audits in collaboration with accounting and IT.

You will help implement an in-house pension administration system and work in a hybrid environment to sustain timely, compliant payments and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in pension payment processing, benefits administration, payroll, or related financial operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations) for payment tracking.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume payment or reconciliation environment.

Responsibilities

• Review pension benefits, amendments, terminations, suspensions, and levies for accuracy before payments are released.
• Process EFTs, bank deposits, and special tax inserts; coordinate with vendors and accounts payable.
• Balance monthly pension payroll reports and support year-end tax reporting and audits.
