Guardian is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist in New York City, hybrid role in Hudson Yards. You will support payroll tax depositing, reporting, compliance, and 1099 obligations, working with Workday and ADP.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with payroll tax depositing and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Workday is required.
• Knowledge of ADP payroll depositing and reporting is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll tax depositing, reporting, reconciliation, and related compliance activities.
• Utilize Workday (WD) as part of payroll and related processes.
• Support payroll tax depositing and reporting processes involving ADP.
• Assist with 1099 depositing and reporting in addition to payroll-related responsibilities.
• Assist with payroll and tax-related audits, including gathering information and supporting responses to audit inquiries.
• Assist with tax agency notices and related documentation.
• Maintain documentation and analyses using Microsoft 365 applications.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Tax, Finance, HR and other teams as needed.
