Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care in Horsham, PA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate team. You will process biweekly payroll accurately, maintain records, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience, is detail-oriented, and proficient with HRIS and Excel. This hybrid role offers in-office collaboration in Horsham three days a week and remote work two days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely for employees across the organization.
• Review and verify payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure payroll information is up to date.
• Process new hires, terminations, employee status changes, direct deposit changes, and other payroll-related updates.
• Ensure accurate calculation and processing of federal, state, and local taxes and other required payroll deductions.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Coordinate with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and year-end reporting, including W-2s.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist management with payroll-related reporting and analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
• Assist with audits and provide payroll documentation as requested.
• Stay current on changes to payroll regulations, tax requirements, and best practices.
• Perform other payroll and accounting-related duties as assigned.
