Job summary

Riot Platforms is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations across multiple states for 800+ employees in a hybrid Round Rock, TX office. You will be the primary payroll contact, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration with accounting and benefits.

The role requires 5+ years in multi-entity payroll, CPP preferred, and experience with ADP/Workday/Dayforce. You will collaborate with Total Rewards and a two-person payroll team to support year-end processes and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing union, multi-state, multi-entity payroll in complex environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; CPP is highly preferred.
• Experience with major payroll platforms (ADP, Workday, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors) is valued.
• Strong knowledge of state tax compliance and wage garnishment laws; ensure compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Reconcile timekeeping data, hours, overtime, and leave balances; resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Benefits, and Compliance teams; prepare payroll reports, W-2s, and year-end close tasks.
