Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees across North America. You will work closely with payroll, HR, and business professionals to maintain compliance and data integrity.

The role involves handling multi-state payroll, benefits, and vendor interactions in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment. A strong detail-orientation and customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience.
• Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. payroll practices and regulations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
• Ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing timecard data and payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Validating payroll calculations and reviewing payroll registers before processing.
• Maintaining employee schedules, vacation plans, and timekeeping system data.
• Resolving payroll and timekeeping issues and responding to employee questions.
• Processing bonus payments, profit sharing, retention bonuses, and other supplemental pay.
• Coordinating payments to third-party vendors for deductions.
• Supporting supervisors with timekeeping questions and troubleshooting.
• Creating and distributing payroll, earnings, attendance, and labor reports.
• Collaborating with HR, Finance, operations, and payroll vendors.
• Supporting payroll projects, testing, and process improvements.
• Maintaining payroll controls and audit readiness.
