Job summary

Accenture in Minneapolis seeks a skilled Payroll Processor contractor to support U.S. payroll operations. You will process payroll transactions, validate data, and ensure compliance in a confidential, detail‑oriented environment within a hybrid work setup.

This role requires at least 3 years of payroll experience, including Workday Payroll, and advanced Excel skills. The assignment runs for six months with possible shifts, and compensation is arranged through BCforward as the employer of record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly U.S. payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Validate employee timekeeping, attendance, earnings, deductions, and garnishments.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and payroll exceptions.
• Maintain payroll records while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Support year-end payroll activities, including W‑2 processing and payroll record maintenance.
