The University of Washington is seeking a Payroll Manager within Housing & Food Services in Seattle. This hybrid, full-time role oversees end-to-end payroll operations for a large workforce and ensures data integrity in financial systems and statements.

You will lead payroll processing, time and leave reconciliation, and compliance; serve as Workday subject matter expert; develop reports and dashboards; supervise staff and collaborate with campus partners to optimize payroll processes.

Formación

• Four years of payroll or accounting experience in a related environment.
• Experience administering payroll in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Experience with overtime eligible/exempt staff payroll and data visualization.
• Strong communication and problem-solving with employees.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, time & leave reconciliation, and compliance for a large department.
• Develop audit schedules and monitoring for semi-monthly payroll and monthly leave accruals.
• Serve as Workday SME for payroll, time tracking, and absence management.
• Research and resolve payroll issues; collaborate with campus partners on complex problems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to support operations and improvements.
