Job summary

MFS is offering a Summer Internship in our payroll team in Boston. The program runs 10-12 weeks, from June 9, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with full-time hours (35-40 per week) paid hourly.

The internship provides meaningful exposure to corporate finance within a collaborative, community-focused firm. Interns will perform timesheet review, payroll data entry, reconciliations, and various analyses, gaining hands-on experience in general ledger activity and quarterly reporting in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, and self-motivated.
• Ability and willingness to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced casual yet professional environment

Responsibilities

• Timesheet review and data entry
• Assist with reviewing payroll entries and reconciliations.
• Filing and organizing of various payroll periods.
• Monthly analysis of general ledger accounts and activity.
• Assist in quarterly performance package preparation.
• Adhoc analysis as required.
