Koniag Government Services (KGS) is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This hybrid role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information.

The Payroll Clerk will process payroll across 18 entities, collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Accounting, and may need to obtain a security clearance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–5 years in payroll processing/administration or related role.
• Experience with government contracting timekeeping software (Dayforce, Jamis, Deltek, Workday) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and verify timekeeping information.
• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll runs.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records per policy and regulations.
• Support audits and prepare payroll-related reports.
