Job summary

Benson is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist for a hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA. You will be the primary administrator for payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, and HR compliance, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while supporting onboarding and HRIS updates.

You will advise on benefits programs, manage audits, and maintain regulatory reporting, driving process improvements and a positive employee experience across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or related field.
• HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM) a plus.
• 2+ years multi-state payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, including taxes and deductions.
• Administer employee benefits programs and Open Enrollment.
• Manage Workers' Compensation program and annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support onboarding and HRIS updates; respond to inquiries.
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports and improve processes.
