Job summary

Akin, a leader in people-centric culture, seeks a Payroll, Benefits & HRIS Specialist to join our People & Culture team in a hybrid setup. You will support payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee experience, partnering across teams to improve processes.

In this role you will manage bi-weekly payroll, benefit enrollments, and HRIS reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, HR, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in payroll, benefits, or HR administration.
• Demonstrated experience using HRIS systems and Excel.
• Experience with UKG, particularly payroll, benefits, reporting, and/or system administration.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, on-time bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Oversee employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
• Administer FMLA, state leave, ADA accommodations, and related programs.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance and liaise with UKG Payroll Services.
